June 2010 SAT Results Thread

That seals it, I probably missed a huge amount of the vocab. on the CR. Not happy with this, but 70 pt. increase none the less.

CR: 600 (for the 3rd time…now that’s standardization!)
Math: 630 (20 pt. increase for 2nd time)
Writing: 700 (defeated the 8 essay)

1930 Overall

Can throw away my two other test sessions because of equal or higher in subject areas : )

And I needed a 1910 in one sitting for the Honors college of my safety school, so this is a great relief. I’ll be studying vocab. like there’s no tomorrow the entire summer now…and prove that I’m better than a 600 CR, which is simply a reflection of my terrible decision-making.

Everyone is saying there is a red link somewhere to view mc scores, but i dont have it?

argh my sat ii score isnt there…

is that bad?

800 M
780 CR
730 W

Almost exactly what I thought I’d get, finally done with sats. 2310 is good enough for me.

The detailed scores will be available on June 29th.

800 CR
760 M
800 W

Wow math…

Anyone recommend I retake for the 800 in math? I’m applying to top level schools. Would this be a smart thing to do?

I honestly doubt it. 2360 is fine and while there is some difference between it and a 2400, so few people get either score so its fine. I’m sticking with my 2310, screw writing.

If you have a high SAT2 Math Level 2maybe you shouldnt retake SAT1 Math

I’m getting the not yet available response without any indication of when I should check back. Does that simply mean that they haven’t gotten around to enabling mine yet, or does it mean that I won’t be able to find out for a week or so?

Congrats everyone :)

I got a 1940 overall, with a 580 CR… And I studied…
Will I ever be able to pull up that 580 CR?? (I am going to be a Junior).

690 CR
670 Math
710 Writing

Score 2070
Superscore (Math-720)- 2120

This past exam was first time i took it Junior year. I took it once Sophomore year scored a 1940 (590 CR, 720 Math, 630 Writing). I’m retaking SAT in November, hoping to get 700+ in CR and composite 2200+

How does everyone know their mc scores?

Ok so NO ONE at my test center got their scores. Is this a screw up on their part? It’s obviously not a coincidence… I asked like 6 people.
Also, are you sure detailed scores come out on the 29th? For starters, last time my scores got delayed they came out with the detailed report, so that means that they’ll likely come out on the 29th this time too. Second, it’s my birthday  So let’s hope that CollegeBoard decides to give me a satisfying gift :)

^ Happy birthday  I turned 16 just yesterday. The College Board gave me an awesome gift :)

somethings wrong…it’s gotta be . I felt i did so much better this time (my second test) but yet my reading and math were exactly the same and my only difference was my writing going up 40 points. There has to be a brutal curve.

first test was :

620 CR
610 MATH
640 Writing

Junes was :

620 CR
610 Math
680 Writing

And i was so much more efficient for the june one, I got all the Grid ins for math (left about 5 blank because of time on the last one), got all the passages done ontime (guessed randomly on some because of time on the first one) but yet no change in score. It doesn’t make sense.

@Jimmy797, I’m an international and the only other person I know who’s from the same testing centre who posts here is receiving the same message as me. Does this mean that our scores are delayed or just that they haven’t uploaded the scores from all of the test centres?

I just received mine: CR: 800, Math: 700, Writing 600.

Funny thing…

Cr 780
m 800
w 800

=)

CR: 780
M: 800
W: 800

WOOT! Done with SAT 1 after sophomore year!!!

^ Congrats to the both of you! :)
