June 2010: US History

Can anyone confirm that the Emancipation Proclamation only freed slaves in the rebellious territories

@ Harambee, it asked what happened as a consequence of the French-Indian war in terms of boundaries.

I disagree with

map of U.S. with railroad lines - cattle

from wiki

The first one, issued September 22, 1862, declared the freedom of all slaves in any state of the Confederate States of America that did not return to Union control by January 1, 1863. The second order, issued January 1, 1863, named ten specific states where it would apply. Lincoln issued the Executive Order by his authority as “Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy” under Article II, section 2 of the United States Constitution.[1]

yeah, i put sectional rift over the tariff for that question harambee.

^I think I put something about she disagreed that only clergy can interpret scripture

anne hutchinson didnt think an inner conversion was necessary i think

Anne Hut- going against the inner conversion thing

Yeah did Anne Hutchinson argue that
the clergy was not the only person that could interpret scripture
or
that conversion was not soemthingsoemthingsomething

For the Anne Hutchinson I put something about salvation

for the one about slavery in the south from 1820-1860 what was the answer?

Aw I put the one about clergy
Can anyone confirm the answer?

Some more ones i remember that could be added to the list:

Anne Hutchinson- defied the idea that only clergymen could interpret scripture
City on the hill- serve as a model city for the world (or something like that)
Man in a flannel grey suit (one of the novel ones)- anti-conformity
Jamestown- joint-stock company with focus on tobacco

For people who thought they did well, what prep book did y’all use? Did it cover everything that showed up?

Wait, what was the specific question about women in the twentieth century and what were the options again…? I remember clerical work but what else was there?

For the 1820-1860 I put that slavery increased or something like that?

Was the AFL correctly matched with skilled laborers?

Kaplan is great, good amount of info but not overboard (like barron’s)

what occured during this interval? was it the era of good feelings???

AMSCO and Crash Course is a lethal combo for both the AP US History exam and the SAT II US History exam

Anne Hutchinson question:
I just checked my review book. The answer is NOT clergy/scripture. The answer is the one about inner conversion.
