June 2010: US History

the interval was the tariff

1828-1836 era: I think it was something about tarriffs (the tariff of abominations ,etc)

what was part of the red scare following world war I? was it loyalty oaths

the era of good feelings ended in like early 1820.

Got that wrong and the Anne Hutchinson one wrong.
):

I guessed on the question about the red scare after WWI

Hmm… idk about the wwi red scare question.
Anyone know the answer to that one?

For the red scare after WWI i put something about police raids because I rememebr reading about the Palmer raids

Tohugh I dodnt know what the palmer raids entailed.

for the red scare wasn’t it something about federal officer doing something?
confirm?

anne hutchinson was definitely opposed to the fact that only the clergy was allowed to interpret scripture. i am 100 percent sure. in fact, when she was put on trial, she claimed that god had spoken to her and that the clergy were not the only ones capable of discerning religious laws. i read the text of her trial about a year ago and i specifically remember that.

confirm that AFL was correctly matched with skilled craftsmen.
1828-1836, as we already concluded, was marked by sectional strife due to the tariff of abominations.

i also put police raids

^that’s what I guessed

compiled answers anyone? =]
and that was definitely a lot harder than the May SAT II. I remember during the May SAT II, i didn’t really study and brushed through the test in 40 minutes. I did better than I expected (760). Since I had to retake Bio this time, I just thought, why not take US History as well if I paid $20 for registration. So I retook it, and I have a feeling I got under 750. Took me exactly 59 minutes to finish the test =[

Does anyone remember a question that dealt with Wilson’s 14 points?

I can confirm the red scare one was police raids

A few more questions that i remember (answers may not be right)
Biggest failure of the kennedy admin in the eyes of the american public=bay of pigs
the 2nd questions of the chart of Af. Am migration = the left for industriral jobs
The New Deal principles were founded on the fact that= more gov spending?

Really?
I always have atleast 10 minutes to check over my answers.

^ i got all those :)

@dhamz15 - I confirm all those answers

Does anyone remember the question about the Committee of public information? Was it mobilizing for war?

for new deal i believe that government can control monetary policy

I guess on the one about the Committee of Public Information
I think I put that they argued against the censure of war information or something?
