June 2010: US History

^I had posted the picture a couple pages back, but [here it is](http://www.designer-daily.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/stop-communism.jpg) again. It was black and white on the exam.

Ah, I remember now. Thanks!

Wait, so how big is the curve…and it’s predetermined? i didnt know that…

also, is the consolidated list basically the same as the most recent one posted? or are there mistakes on it?

The curve isn’t predetermined; it varies with each test. It depends on the difficulty of the test and the performance of those who took it on that administration. There usually isn’t a significant variation with each test as far as curves go, though, which is why people guess their potential scores based on the number they think they’ve gotten wrong according to the consolidated answer list we come up with.

12 wrong,18 omit is around 670-700 right?

@wennera: that’s about right

According to the official SAT subject test study guide 9 wrong/0 omitted is an 800. I’d imagine the curve for this test wouldn’t deviate too greatly from that.

I thought the test was easy…at least compared to the Sparknotes test

Yeah, this one seemed a lot easier than the sparknotes tests. I didn’t get one >750 on sparknotes (except maybe one 760?). On this one, if I did as well as I think I did, I’m anywhere from a 780 to an 800, and that was with some really stupid mistakes.

I thought the actual test was harder than the SN test.

9 wrong 0 omit is an 800??? Awesome. I feel like I missed 8 at most with no omits.

I feel like I missed at most 5 with 2 omits but I know I definitely didn’t get 800, haha. Usually the better I think I do, the worse I actually do, even when I check consolidated answer lists and everything.

the quseetion you guys forgot was about henry david thoreau’s civil disobedience linking with MLK jr

^Oh!!! Thanks for catching that for us. Looks like we now have a fully consolidated list.

Sorry to disappoint, Harambee, but 16 and 90 are the same!!

wow,I didn’t see that either. I just want to finish this list.

Yeah, I don’t think that any of us will be able to remember the missing question a week after the test. I guess we’ll wait and see. Besides, based on this, I have a max 6 wrong, which is an 800 according to everyone on this thread!!

I haven’t read the whole thread, but wouldn’t the curve for this exam in particular be better than the one in the Blue Book? General consensus (I include myself in this) seems to show that the exam was rather difficult – and this is CC!!

Damn, if I don’t get an 800 on this then, I will be ****ed.

p i s s ed
