***June 2014: ACT Scores***

Most of the remaining scores will be released friday. The scores that take longer will be due to students’ typos on their answer sheet

@K1Helen‌ Im in MA and neither me nor any of my friends have received scores. don’t worry.

Some of my friends who took the test at the same place as me got their scores already. My test still says Registered under the status. Is this normal?

Not one of my friends got their scores so I doubt we made any mistakes(well all of us)
Is there anyone from Florida with their scores?

I was very meticulous in filling out my answer sheet, so I highly doubt that the delay is a result of my negligence.

My friend and I took it at the same testing center and we have not gotten scores back, other friends took it at a different center and received their scores on the 23rd. Seems as if no one here has received scores today even though some scores were said to be released, seems we’ll have to wait til friday.

My son and his friend took it at the same place - friend got scores on Monday - my son’s have not been released!

33 composite… Again, and my math took a nose dive from the 36 I got last time.
C-33
R-32
M-32
S-32
E-34

Did you get your score today ??

What time do they usually release the scores? Is it 1 am central time?

@k1helen Usually a little after 8 AM central time.

They first release on a Monday. Then the following Friday. After that, they release on Wednesdays and Fridays until all scores are released. So tomorrow morning is the next release, but you (and I) could be as much as two or even three weeks away from scores.

No need stressing about it. They will come when they come.

@CATDECAL‌ Haha thanks, I had no idea about that.

I always stress out when scores are about to release. (I really should stop ._.) This is why when ACT gives me a vague time slot I’m anxious the entire time. Though from my friend’s past experience, the test center where I took it ends up being later than most anyways.

Thank you!

@K1Helen‌ No worries.

There has been some variation in the past, but the they have been consistent with this pattern for the last three tests (at least.) The only change was that two tests back they started releasing a week after the following Monday of test day, instead of two weeks. So some get theirs earlier, and others end up being mad longer that their neighbors got their’s first.

This appears to be the system they have settled on, and it seems about as accommodating as one could expect.

They have tons of info to get out and they do so in a reasonably timely manner.

It always amuses me to see those who don’t get their scores pull out the pitchforks and cry, “Unfair!” Sorry kids, you don’t always get exactly what you want exactly when you want it!

For what it is worth, a few times back, my scores came out on the first possible day of release. For the April test, I was among the last to get scores back. Same testing center; same schedule; wildly different time getting scores. I’m waiting on scores for this test, just like you. Hopefully Friday, but I’m not holding my breath.

I don’t find it unfair, it’s just stressful that I’m the only person from my high school who hasn’t gotten their score yet.

Just found out (through an email today) that there was a complaint about the air conditioning being off at my testing center (it wasn’t that bad, just a bit hotter than usual), so my test has not been graded. I have a choice of either retaking it on a scheduled day or having my original test scored now.

@Covone‌
Good news! Do you feel like you reached your goal score? If not, retake

personally, I think youre lucky… now you have a choice D:

@Covone‌ by any chance, did you take your act on long island?

so will scores be posted tonight at midnight CT or at 5 or 7 am?

@austin23‌ I’m going to have them score my original test. I feel like a May have done worse in reading but gone up in the other subjects. My previous composite score was a 32 so I am aiming for a 33 or 34.
