June 2015 Physics Regents

Ah okay I definitely got that one wrong then. Does anyone remember getting 5 N up for one of the mult choices ?

Did anyone put letter f for the mercury electron level?
And did anyone get visible light for one of the short answers?

Yeah I got visibile violet light for one of them. Also I think I put letter e but I could be wrong.

If i put visible light only, will I still get the credit?

Yup! They will accept that as well.

Alright cool. Remember any others?

I don’t really remember multiple choice too much but there was one where it was like a bunch of dots and it had to do with free fall?

yeah, I picked choice 2( the one that gradually increases in size)

Okay! Also do you remember the electrostatic force short answer question where one of them was drawing. I drew them downwards towards the negative but I said the direction of the electron is upwards. How about you?

I drew it towards the positive and stated the direction was towards the top of the page. But I’m pretty sure drawing towards the positive was wrong… I think you’re right

I just really wanna know what I got! I don’t think I failed but I think I definitely did not do that good. Can you think of anymore questions? How about the first short answer? Was it 19,500 W?

Honestly I have a bad memory lol. Yeah I think I got that

If you remember more, it’ll come back to me. I commented everything I remembered

For one multiple choice, was it mechanical --> electrical energy ? Also was the weight and force of friction supposed to be negative for the copper box short answer?

Yes for the MC.

And I dont think weight can be negative because it is scalar and I’m not sure about force of frict.

yea, violet is just an illusion that some animals, like humans, can observe while visible light is the name of the electromagnetic radiation

No it was electrical to mechanical, because an electric motor uses electrical energy and converts it into mechanical energy; a good example of this is a Prius

Oh I thought it was mechanical to electrical because it can produce light in a lightbulb and power is a measure of brightness?

Welp nevermind you’re prob right. I’m thinking of a generator.

i got infrared light?
