<p>Hey all! I received through Priority Mail a lot of information from Midd today, including FYS Registration, Orientation and Common Reading, and Pre-Arrival Checklist. </p>
<p>My heart was beating so quickly when I was reading through it. :]</p>
<p>Has everyone else received their packet already?</p>
<p>Yep I got it today. What do you think of the book? It seemed interesting.</p>
<p>I’ve not started reading it because I’ve been too busy trying to cram all the other info into my head and trying to pick out my FYS. But from the description the Commons Heads gave in the letter, it does sound interesting. I can’t wait to start reading it.</p>
<p>Haha, when I first saw it, I was like “ooo, a present!” But then I read “discussion during Orientation.” Meh, I don’t mind.</p>

<p>S got that package too… So ironic because graduation was Thursday night and the next day drove home the fact that the hard work is really just beginning! </p>
<p>About Book: Son said a friend gong to Dartmouth last year had to read it and said it was really good.</p>
<p>I’ve read Everything is Illuminated before, just as leisure reading. There’s a lot to analyze but you can really enjoy it because it’s a fresh and innovative read. It can be a little odd at times but I don’t really think that’s a negative :)</p>
<p>I’m excited now! Can’t wait to log-in at 9 AM on July 15 to sign up for the FYSE. What are you guys thinking of taking?</p>

<p>It seems like some people already got the june info packet since last Friday. I live in MA and still haven’t got the packet. I’m planning to call them tomorrow, but I was wondering if people who got the packet sent the medical forms already (I’ll see my doctor this week to fill out the forms). I’m just wondering the reason I haven’t gotten the june info packet is that I didn’t send the medical forms yet.</p>
<p>Son hasn’t sent in Med forms – and that reminds me. I have to get him an appt!! Was there a deadline on that? I know there was on one of those forms sent back then - june 1. Not sure about med forms. We’re still doing HS graduation stuff around here.</p>
