June International SAT done!!

@MoonTuHon
The result doesn’t have to be positive as negative numbers can still be measured in order of size as well.

Alright, just some final questions to clear up on.

 1. For the japanese girl riding on the train, what was the answer to the trees ‘unfurling’ or something? Impart a sense of motion?
 2. Was it “harsh but accurate” or “familiar but undeserved” for the censorship question?

yes, I chose “sense of motion” and I believe that must be correct, there was a second question about what was the comparison based on? I chose geography

and I chose “familiar but undeserved”

Yeah sense of motion and i put harsh but inaccurate but the answer is familiar but undeserved

You sure the answer was familiar but undeserved? Geez that question could go either way, both answers are so similar

my reasoning was he would say it is undeserved because he was very emphatic and saying that we should understand them because their reasons are genuine (heartfelt), they honestly believe in what they are doing and wishing all the best for the children… he wouldn’t say it is inaccurate.

But it was harsh, but accurate not inaccurate.

well he wouldn’t say it is accurate because he would start defending them referring to their genuine motives. I think I wrote inaccurate just because I read it from MoonTuHon : D

I chose harsh but accurate because I believe that there is a difference between CENSOR and SELECTION for the author of Passage 2, and since that the question was asking for the attitude for CENSOR, which is likewise opposed by author of Passage 2, I thought the answer was “harsh but accurate”.

It was familiar but undeserved.

And how was the citizen/agent one agent? It just doesn’t make sense.

Nope.
Citizen was the answer

Agent - one who helps to serve others
Citizen - a part of community

In this case, the nature was a community in which bee was a part of citizens who eagerly constructs the community with controlling its own part.

I answered Citizen :smiley:

Guys. How did your maths sections go?

So, everyone had time for the CR?

I do not agree on the trapezoidal question answer. I do not miss any single question on SAT I math, and got 800’s all time.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/11/Trapezoid.svg

If I remember correctly, we were to find the angle C, and we were given Angle next to Angle D. Then, Why is it 180 - 75 ?? You can obviously find out that Angle C and Angle D are totally different.

If we were supposed to find angle D and we were given angle next to angle A, you obviously do not subtract 75 from 180 to find the angle D.

Did anyone have writing as their experimental section?
If so. Which one was the experimental?

@basetballer23, do you remember what you put for question saying what to put at the beginning of paragraph 3??

I don’t remember.
It’ll help to remember if you remember the answer choices?

@basetballer23: i had the writing experimental and the experimental was the second writing section that we got, which was section 5, I think, but I don’t seem to remember any questions from that :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: What I know is that the one with passage about buildings is NOT experimental…

@eagleeyes: I don’t recall the question asking what to put at the beginning of paragraph 3… what was it?

@FruitTwix :
The real writing experimental was the easier one right?

eagleeyes, we were given A and had to find D. (trapezoid)

experimental writing was where the passage was about Terriers.

yeahhh but I don’t know I found the writing experimental harder than the real one…;;

I also believe that in the trapezoid question, we were given A and had to find D.
