June SAT Biology E/M Pre/Post Test

cuz if it was straight DNA strands lined up against each other… it’d HAVE to look like this:

http://bioap.wikispaces.com/file/view/08P-210-DNA-5-3.jpg/207075400/08P-210-DNA-5-3.jpg</a></p>

but i guess it was winding. although how did it show winding if the 2 DNA strands were all … straight and flat?

They twisted it like this… The 1s represent one stand. 2s represent another stand. Again. not 100% how many twists there was.

121212121
212121212

http://i52.■■■■■■■.com/104lytv.png</a>
Forgive the crude drawing but that’s what it looked like somewhat

No one remembers the answer choices specifically for B or C right?

I’m leaning more towards C but all I know is that the answer choice below the one I’m talking about had mismatched nucleotides

jesus i am now thoroughly confused by how twisted dna can look straight and straight dna could actually be twisted. i…kind of get it?

does anyone know the wording of the question? that’d help

I put Phosphorus doesn’t cycle through the atmosphere.

I took this test at 8:30 in NJ, and it’s been almost 12 hours, so I really don’t remember ;_; I’d love to see the question again, though!

i’d love to see the test again… along with my answer sheet.

^agreeed…ahhh am i the only one that did bad here? sigh I feel like poop

Oh wait. okay i get it now… the diagrams for dna i think looked like this
5 3
|||||
|||||
3 5
(won’t let me do the spacing correctly)
or whatever, rather than
5—3
3—5

That confused me…

@houston Nah. I omitted8 and got +5 wrong. I usually score 730-740 on the practice. I did horrible. Don’t even feel like doing my weekend homework. So disapointed.

One of my friends told me that the one that was false for the Phosphorus question was that the ocean does not erode it or something like that.

And ApManiac, Phosphorus does not travel in the atmosphere, but i think the choice was, Phosphorus DOES NOT plays a large role in the atmosphere. Not sure…

i think the phosphorus question asked which one was NOT true. so the atmosphere one would be right. which means it’d be the wrong answer.

we get the results in 3 weeks

oh… i felt so stupid and ashamed after that test… do you guys konw when the scores come out?

in three weeks i’ll probably check the cb website, get super nervous, and die of a heart attack before the page ever loads to show me my score

I think this one was harder than previous years, so maybe a 4 question curve?

4? i guess i could settle for that. as much as possible… but 4 sounds reasonable
