Official June SAT II Biology

discussion anything you want.

im taking it
lets start the "educational games" they did for the aps

I am also taking this.

I am too :)

wOOWw me too!

Me too! you guys will take E or M?

probably M, but im not positive- i can't really decide :/

exactly... I was gonna do M, but E seems easier. I won't really decide for now.

can't u decide while takn the test.. you can see which one is easier?

no you can't, you have to decide while you're filling in the bubbles for registration and blah. It's usually something like 1-60 is general molecular and ecology questions, and then 60-80 is ecology questions, and like 81-101 is molecular questions. If you took M, then you would skip the 60-80 ecology questions, and you can't look at them.

E is easier to me, I almost forgor those DNA, RNA stuffs.:(

On the "blue" SAT II book, I took the E section of the test and made a 760.

Three weeks left, I want to bump that 760 to a solid 800.

But, let me check out the M section after finals...

Hey, what book are you guys using? And what year in hs are u guys in?

I'm taking it as a freshie, hoping for 780...

Yeah..what books did you all use? What are the best books?

There is . . .

So..anyone?? I've searched the threads and google and it seems like everyone agrees on a different book, with Cliff's Notes being the only real one everyone agreed was good. Is that all someone needs to prep for SAT II BIology?

Aww...I remember taking this test my freshman year, that was June of '02, brings back so much memories...

suprise? genetics? BLEH at may!

Come on..anyone..this is crucial..the credit card is sitting in front of me, gleaming..waiting to be used. :( I'm gonna go with Cliff's unless someone tells me otherwise.

I used Cliffs for AP study and found it useful for reviewing the major topics like photosynthesis and respiration. However, it has a pretty brief ecology section, so if you're planning on taking E, you probably want something else too.

i highly recommend Cliff's. it worked wonders for me. i was the only student in the ap bio testing room who wrote the entire time during the essay part. :)

Should I get Cliffs AP or Quick Review?

BTW, I found a combo of Kaplan, PR, and Barrons pretty useful, tho hectic.
