June SAT Biology E/M Pre/Post Test

Maybe it was one of the other two? Or were they easy to eliminate?

Well, if one of the choices was directional selection, that would have been for sure right, I think…do you remember if that was one?

I actually crossed out competitive exclusion because none of the species died out. The other choice was symbiosis, from my memory, but that wouldn’t make sense either. I was stumped between niche and interdependence, but chose the latter. I don’t know if I’m right though haha

Khuam: I don’t remember a directional selection as one of the answer choices

oh I bet its symbiosis, because symbiosis is any relationship between two species…

and it’s not niche partitioning, that occurs when species compete for the same recource

OMG yeah…now that I think about it…symbiosis might be right…damnn

Ya probably symbiosis… Ah so obvious.

I put “interdependence” too…but now “symbiosis” sounds like it would work too :(

& so we already said that the question with ammonia and uric acid and urea relating to an animal in hot conditions is uric acid?

^yes
10 char.

with the reptiles? yeah. uric acid.

What about the question with the clade of animals and it asked which one was the closest related I think?

crocs and birds i put

Didn’t take the exam but I took it awhile ago and this really helped:

FAR(B)M

Fish
Amphibians
Reptiles
Birds
Mammals

Yeah I put what catcat did :)

K good that’s what I put :)

The whole… thing about secreting on its skin during hot days threw me off Tbh. If they just said what type of nitrogenous waste reptiles poop out, then I would definitely chose Uric acid. Too bad I omitted that one, because I thought it was some sort of trick question

Niceboat, yeah, CB is good at wording things differently to throw people off. I was impressed by their talent

how much is 2 missed and 8 wrong?
