**June SAT U.S. History Post Test Discussion**

Exactly, there’s no way I’m retaking a 770 unless it’s bio.

if u get a 750 on the SAT II, what should you expect on the ap exam? I’m still hoping for a 5!

@ practical … you should retake … i mean with all the effort you put into one subject and you can’t get 800… I mean that is kinda sad. So retake it … btw 770 is pretty bad and will put you behind those who have gotten 800 so… consider

Maybe an 800 is more pleasing to the eye than a 770, but I don’t think it’s worth it. The next time you can retake is in October. You can’t retain history for that long - you have to study it all over again, especially if you want an 800. I think you’re better off investing your time in extracurricular activities or other things.

And a 770 honestly isn’t even that bad. It’s not like Math II where 12-15% of test-takers get perfect score. A 770 still has a pretty darn good percentile. Practical, it is honestly up to you, whether you want to invest all that time in studying again or if you want to leave as is. I’m not sure it will make a difference. Harvard’s not going to kick you out for falling 30 points short of perfect, but Harvard WILL kick you out for lacking in extracurricular activities…

Dude, a 770 is a GREAT score. Idk where you got your info but a 770 is a great score for Harvard and all your other top colleges…

How is a 760 in USH, 770 in Math II, and 750 in Chem? Are these scores Ivy/Stanford-typical?

^Yes, they are. As long as you have 750+ it looks pretty good. The rest is up to the rest of your app.

750+ scores are definitely ivy range, some say 770+ to be safe. Either way, someone isn’t going to get in solely on test scores.

but I would say that there is a huge difference between the number 7 and 8 … I mean at least visually and naturally… people tends to lean on the highest number rather than you know… w.e do whatever you want…

i got a 720 on USH after not picking up the book after AP exams (granted, i did study a lot for the AP exam). i expected a worse score (sub 700) so i am very happy with this score. my mother, on the other hand, is not -___-;;

Lol, it doesn’t really matter. I know TONS of people who got into the ivies with a 720 SAT II score.

5 on AP USH hell yea and 800 on SAT2 USH … successful year :D

It was DEFINITELY cult of domesticity.

Actually it could have been the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, one will never know…

it was kk’s prof pic i thought…w/e we’ll just have to wait until the scores come out i guess…

Ughhh i studied a lot for it and got a 720…

650… :’( :’( I actually tried really hard in the class all year, but did not pick up a test prep book…

750…good or bad?

760 in SATII USH, better than I thought :D, hoping for that 5…

800!! Self-studying for APUSH helped a ton!
