Juniata vs Hiram

Absolutely Shennie - just my impression. It was a beautiful spring Friday so a lot of the frats were outdoors so that affected my impression. Also after visiting Juniata and noticing the piercings and tatoos - which may be just the group of kids we sat near during lunch, the Alleghany studemts looked preppier. I liked the campus more than my son did - I was hoping he would like it since it was closer to home.
I do think they should have been more careful about the classes they chose for observation. Wouldn’t you choose an engaging professor to impress perspective students? The class could have swayed my son if it had been a better experience.

Hiram is smaller than Huntingdon but it is closer to a major city, Cleveland.

My son is a student at Allegheny. We are not rich. I was concerned about “snootiness” This has not been an issue at all for him. He is amazed at how great the professor’s are. Yes, some topics are boring… But, overall he is very happy.
