Anybody else have this at their school? DS received a letter inviting the top 10 juniors at his school to a breakfast and meeting with the GC’s. They were told to fill out a sheet they were given listing in 2 separate columns the colleges they plan to apply to. One side is Florida colleges(we live in FL) and the other column all schools OOS. Apparently(still not sure) all the schools in the district do the same thing. Any idea as to what they are trying to accomplish by doing this?
It sounds like they are looking to acknowledge the top 10 students…and give them some advance help with their college searches.

@thumper1 Spot on!! Received a letter today confirming just what you said. The top 10 juniors from the 2 HS’s will have the breakfast acknowledging the 20 kids and indeed looking to help them with college applications moving forward. The reason for the list of colleges the kids were looking to enroll at was to try and get some of those colleges there to meet with them one on one.
