<p>Okay I really enjoy learning. I am a sophomore currently and would like to take harder classes next year, as I was not offered classes that were challanging to me this year. I really wish I had gone into any of the two local IB schools, but my mom did not like that idea.
Currently I am taking seven classes, doing a sport every season and dropped my off period. I have still managed to keep all my A’s! (easily…) I have the highest grade in my chem class right now… and the class consists of juniors and seniors mostly. I am good at math related things and such. My school does not offer AP chem though!!! There is a program that I could take the course online for free through my school… is this a bad idea? I am really into chem and love it. Also if I am doing really good in honors algebra II, would it be a bad idea to skip pre-calc, (or study it on my own in the summer)? I feel my school is limiting what I can learn… and I want to be challanged. I am getting bored…</p>
<p>Is this a good or bad idea to load up like that? I am planning on majoring in going into a math/science field in college… should I drop AP english or AP history then? I really like those subjects as well though. As I mentioned I am taking all honors this year and am doing really well.
My AP physics teacher only took one semester of physics? and most of his students did not learn anything and did not pass the AP exam? Is there any other options for taking AP physics? Like online?</p>
<p>If you are really good at math then take Calc but only if you study Pre Calc over the summer. It’s hard to jump from Alg II to Calc at my school you have to take Trig/Functions and Pre Calc and Calc AB before BC, and the AP test is hard. AP Bio is interesting (to me at least), but I’m not sure about taking Chemistry online, sounds like a hard load.</p>
<p>take all of the hardest courses your school offers. make sure u dont drop your foreign language (which it looks like u havent, good) and idt taking BC before AB is smart. AB is more of a junior class then take BC next year even though some of the material overlaps, BC just goes more in depth (from what i hear)… Trust me, just take all the hardest courses that your school offers by the time u graduate (and check out what your peers are doing)… use my hindsight, if there are AP’s u can take, u shud try to fit them in. I didn’t and know im kicking myself in the ass thinking, what if.</p>

<p>I just know that all of my friends who took the AP Physics B had a lot of trouble, even the junior valedictorian, but that doesnt say a whole lot.
AP Chem takes a lot of time i think but im doing it senior year if it is offered…
This sophmore year was easy too. i slacked off 9th grade and 1/2 this year and realized there were rankings.</p>
