I am currently a sophomore taking the following courses:
(no AP classes were offered to sophomores this year)

Chemistry
Algebra II/Trig
English II
Spanish II
Global History II
Chorus
Marine Biology

My overall average for the first quarter was a 98.6 out of 100 and my current average for quarter two is a 99.6 out of 100.

This is my projected junior year schedule:

AP Biology (I wasn't going to take this class, however I recently found out that my favorite teacher will be conducting it. Although biology does not interest me much, I would love to take another class with this specific teacher. However, I have no idea what to expect in terms of homework, tests, and the AP test itself. I have heard that this is a brutal class.)
Pre-Calc (not too worried about this class)
AP Lit (I am a prospective English major, so this class doesn't worry me.)
Spanish III (easy 100)
AP Gov (seems like a very interesting class, however I have heard that the homework load is brutal)
US History (should be a relatively easy class)
Chorus (fun class, easy 100)
Physics (should be fairly easy)
Physics Lab/AP Bio Lab

This is the most rigorous schedule available as my school is extremely small and does not offer a myriad of AP courses.

Is this a manageable schedule for junior year? My only concern is that my school does not weight AP classes, so if I do not get A's this will be reflected in my overall GPA. I am currently ranked number 1 in my class and I am afraid that this may change next year since some kids are sticking to a non-AP pathway for easy 100's. Is taking AP's worth the possibility of losing my number 1 standing? Will colleges look up to or down on this decision? Also, will I have enough time for these AP classes? I am also an active member of many organizations:

Editor of the school newspaper--takes up an hour each week
Member of Interact--takes up two hours each week
A cappella member--takes up an hour each week
Softball player--takes up from 3 to 7 hours each school day from March to May
Drama club member (lead in the high school musical)--takes up 10 hours a week from around October to February

All of these activities are very important to me and I am not willing to give any of them up. Will I have enough time to balance all of these extracurriculars with AP classes?

Currently, my college list includes:
Yale, Cornell, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, Elon, William and Mary, Davidson, Furman, Gettysburg, Bucknell, Williams, and Boston College.
I am aware that admittance to any of these schools will require top grades and lots of dedication. I am a perfectionist and an extremely hard worker, never giving up until I have attained my goal.

Does my junior year schedule seem to be on the right track toward success? Any suggestions? Also, advice on managing my AP classes would be much appreciated.

Thank you for taking your time to answer!
