Summer is approaching very quickly and I can soon say, I'M GRADUATING!! Temple University is definitely my first choice. I visited last month, and I fell in love with it. I just wonder what I can do now as a junior to ensure my acceptance to my dream school. I am valedictorian of class of '10, community service is definitely on my transcript, 92 cumulative average...and so much more I have worked my butt off for. So if any college grad, advisor, or Temple Owl is out there, please tell me the steps to take as a junior to get into my dream school.

If you’re valedictorian I suggest you NOT go to TempleU.
It’s not a very reputable school and with your credentials you should strive
for something better. You’re from New York? Why not try
some SUNYs? SUNYs > TempleU in my opinion, and btw, Temple’s neighborhood
is scary. You will not be able to walk to your nearest store without being mugged or something like that.

We have plenty of Vals and high GPA and SAT students.
Temple is a very reputable. You’d be calling journalists, newscasters, lawyers and other professionals in the Delaware Valley not reputable, which is laughable.
The SUNYs are fine, but they dont have the social life and sports scene that Temple has.

By saying ‘something like that’, you’re illustrating that you’re talking out of your behind, and thus, have no experience at Temple. I’ve gone two years without being mugged while walking to 7-11 and whatnot at 3 AM.

I don’t think you will have any difficulty whatsoever at being admitted to Temple, unless there is a gaping flaw with your application (ie you are a convicted murderer, have been expelled more than once, or kill kittens in your spare time). Also, I agree with diontechristmas, that you should be trying to work out a full scholarship, which really should be doable. With strawberrymilk’s comment, I think that Temple is quite a reputable school, but nonetheless it cannot hurt to keep looking, especially if Temple is the first school you’ve visited. You may find a school that you like even more, and if not, you still will be thrilled to go to Temple. If only I was in your situation…:)
