Juniors class of '10: List schools of interest

I'm a junior class of '09, and here is my list of colleges in order of preference:
1. Cornell AEM
2. McDonough
2. Stern
2. Wharton
5. BC Caroll
6. Harvard
7. USC Marshall
8. Lehigh
8. Yale
And my 2 safeties.

UPenn
NYU
Northeastern
Boston College
Rutgers
The College of New Jersey
University of Delaware
Fordham University
UConn
Seton Hall (As a super sure safety, and maybe a cc..)

I might apply to 2-3 colleges in Canada. Dunno yet. I'm trying to keep my list short... but compared to you guys ;X. I want to apply to 8 at most in the US. I probably will take UPenn off, because I'm not passionate about it and felt like throwing an ivy in.

Robert E. Cook Honors College at Indiana University of PA :)
also, just to see if I get in, University of Pennsylvania

to make this thread more helpful to all, can u share what u thought of a school after u visited? thanks :)

welll, I'll add my 2 cents since I've visited my schools and refined my list. :D

Pomona -- I still loved it after I visited. awesome!
Stanford -- made me like it more after I visited.
USC -- amazing, amazing! I loved it more after seeing it in real life. I'm glad to have a match school I really like.
Rice -- meh. I see Rice too often. So IDK.
UT Austin -- safety what.

University of California Davis
University of California Irvine
San Jose State University
San Francisco State University

Now,
Scripps
UT-Knox - sigh...
Northwestern
Columbia - Dreamin' big here, peeps.

I'm on this California thing right now, with Scripps being my favorite right now. I've still got awhile to go; I haven't even taken my SAT IIs yet. Or even thought about them, jeesh.

greg6or - "George Washington University (possibly, right in the city sounds harsh, I will see when I visit)."

GWU is right in the center of the city. However, it's in a REALLY good part of the city - I'm talking the Lincoln Memorial and the embassies, NOT the slums. It's only fifteen minutes from the Smithsonian buildings via the metro (it has its own metro stop), and you can walk to the Lincoln Memorial.

P.S. - I hope I did not demean you here. I'm assuming you have a minimal knowledge of DC. If you like, lived there, you'd know more than me of course.

While everyone on this thread seems to have some amazing goals for college...I've found that the California State School system is just as amazing! They are cheap, awesome schools with great programs in the most beautiful state in the world; CA of course!

Even though I have a 4.3 GPA and do very well in school, wanting to go to a state school doesn't make me any dumber.

Sonoma State University (An amazing small school in the wine country...could you get any better!? Check it out!)

Humboldt State University (Despite the rain, they have some awesome arts programs!)

CSU Long Beach (It's a little on the large side for me, but they have the largest art program in the entire system.)
