<p>My son is a sophomore living in Walsh. He just received a jury notice for late January. We were surprised to find out that full time college students in Massachusetts which are non-residents and are not registered to vote in Massachusetts are subject to jury duty. Has anyone else had this experience? Any suggestions on how to get out of jury duty or how best to handle this situation? Postponement is not a real option since it will most likely be some time later in the Spring semester or during the summer when he is out of state living at home.</p>
