Just a HS kid here

Well, I'll be starting undergrad this fall with a major in Astonomy/Astrophysics. At first, I thought it would be too early for something like this, but then I realized there are a lot of things I wish I had known before starting high school. Are there any major things I should know to in college in preparation for grad school, or are these thoughts best saved for later? Thanks

Get to know the profs in your area of interest. Go to their office hours with questions. Sit in the front row. Don’t be a suck-up, but don’t be that anonymous kid either. If you apply to grad school you will have some needed relationships for advice, support, and of course recs. In the mean time, try out a few new subjects in your first years to see what’s out there.

Get involved in research as soon as you can. Do summer research internships.

See the sticky thread- Graduate School Admissions 101. I’m sure all of your questions are there.
