Just a random question, but hear me out

Actually, you are in a way recycling that recycling bin when you're using it to recycle things. You get what I mean? It's still being recylcled and you can still recyle it. (( Oh, sorry, didn't see that!)

Maybe they should start using a product they've already used, that's big enough to use as a recylcling box?

I do think they make those recycle bins out of recylced materials though.

And in the place I used to live (Asian country) , which were vertical apartments, they used strong sacks (I guess plastic sacks??) to put their recylced things in there. The sacks were in one place where everyone used it. And they recycled everything in there according to material. Now that I'm in the states, I realized they don't recycle everything which is weird.
Why do we need our own recylce bins? Why don't we just SHARE them in one place!? lol, easier for the garbage men.

Also, in Japan, they sort it out by burnable and non-burnable (the place I went), isn't this bad for the environment???
As for the foam cups, yes, it does take much more space, and like plastic takes forever to degrade.

I think that someone in the near future, just like how the foam cups were discovered, maybe a chemist will discover a safer way to package things! :)

I love this topic because I'm interested in going green too xD

Im so interested in going green. I think its an amazing way to give back to our earth. I recently purchased a 100% organic cotton tote bag to use everyday. all proceeds from this bag go back to charities who help protect the environment. check out the ralph lauren website if youre interested in purchasing one!

If you are interested in "going green" DON'T BUY ANYTHING NEW! (sorry for the caps, but....ya' know - this is what I'm talking about) Instead, use something you already have.

Cute story...don't remember where it was, I saw it on the news....a girl used the same brown paper lunch bag every day for an entire school year. Now, THAT's the right idea.

I totally understand why you would say that. Actually, it was a christmas gift, so I wasn't about to tell them to return it!

That is a really interesting story!

love to hear more responses!

im bumping...
