Just curious...

Is there any chance that really good extracurriculars would outweigh my less than stellar SAT/ACT scores for admission to schools like Washington & Lee and Princeton? Or is the SAT/ACT really that super important?

GPA and test scores are more important than EC. There are ranges for each factor. When you are low in one factor, as long as it is still within range, it may be partly compensated by strength in other factors. The ranges of different factors vary from school to school. Let say you have excellent performance in basketball, you may still get in even both your GPA and test scores are below 25% of their admission range.

In my experience, the SAT/ACT is much more important than colleges lead you to believe.

Focus on your test scores because ECs are just the cherries on top so if someone has the same test scores as you, theyll go to your ECs and see how involved you are and most likely youll be preferred if you have more activities

Probably not, unless really good meant Hollywood star or published author. Owning a million dollar business certainly would be appreciated.
