Thrilled DD just got her first (of many hopefully) acceptance letter today. Carthage is her financial safety but it is a good feeling to have an acceptance in hand.

Congrats to both the student and the family!

Congrats to all three acceptances. The first one, especially so early, is such a relief.

congrats spring162 & D!!! it feels great doesnt it! i think now 4 have posted acceptances, wonder when they will open an official thread?

Congrats Spring162 & your DD!

great news! Congrats!

I was accepted Friday by The University of Missouri.

Go Tigers!

Congrats everyone!

Congratulations to those who already made into college for the class of 2010!!!

My S is working on his applications for a few safety schools as well. The thing is the official transcript may take a while to be sent given his school size. We hope and pray that he will get accepted by some of these schools by October to ease his pressure so he can focus on working on his Target and Reach schools.

Good luck to all!!

My DS got accepted into:

3 choice: UCONN (with a really good merit-based scholarship)

2 choice: Richmond Univeristy

1 choice: Columbia University

He knows that UCONN will be it if the others don’t have a good $ package. Columbia keeps saying don’t let money prevent you from attending but I am worried about the money. We didn’t qualify for Federal Aid (and I’m self-employed (or barely employed) and we have 4 children.
