Just got my SAT Subject Test scores back, and I want to send them, but it'll cost money?

Before I took the SAT Subject Test, I sent all of my other scores to some colleges, paying a hefty price since I wanted to apply to a lot more than 4 colleges initially (I eventually changed my mind and only want to apply to 5 now, so I ended up spending some of that money for nothing).

Now I got some new scores and want to send them to 3 colleges, but I have to pay $36 if I want to send the new scores. Was I supposed to wait until I had ALL of my scores to spend my 4 free score reports? Because I assumed at first that after I got new scores I could send those to 4 colleges for free as well. Maybe it was common sense but I just thought that was kind of odd, if that’s the case.

If you’re curious, I took Math I, Math II, and Biology M, and got scores of 740, 770, and 680, respectively.

idk how my Math II score ended up being higher than my Math I score lol.

You have to pay to send the scores. Once those scores come out, sending them requires paying the fee. Whenever you order scores sent, CB will send all scores it already has for you at the time the scores are sent, but it will not send future scores absent a new order. Thus, all those prior orders you did for a fee did not apply to your new subject test scores.

Your Math II score was probably higher than your Math I score since Math I has a really strict scoring curve. 740 on Math I is 90 percentile or so while 770 on Math II is around the 72nd percentile.
