Just out of curiosity...

For those of you that included volunteer experience, how did you answer "number of years after 12th"? I have already submitted my application and was just reading it over again and wondering now if I misread the question. I answered it as "how many years after 12th grade did you volunteer with this organization"? But now I am wondering if it meant "how many years after 12th grade did you begin with this organization"?

Anyone know?

Yup, I thought of it as your last sentence: “how many years after 12th grade did you begin with this organization”?

I based it on that^

I did the same thing ^^^

Darn, now I am really wishing I had asked the transfer adviser about that question…

Oh… I marked mine like they meant the number of years that we have participated in the activity…

You guys can always email or call the application office to let them know what you meant to say in the volunteer section.

I thought it meant how many years did you participate in this organization so i checked them all including after 12.

So who’s really right?? Can anyone really confirm?

“how many years after 12th grade did you volunteer with this organization?”

I answered it based on this

Now that I think about it, they would probably be more interested in how many years you participated in an organization or activity, rather than when you started.

I really do not believe that UC will factor EC that much. They probably just look at it, shrug, and click accept or reject.
