Just started studying for SAT II Lit...

Tell me about it! I have 77 books on my list at the moment and I’m working through them but it’s going so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwly.

Haha I have a 13 page wishlist on Amazon! Someday (when I’m rich) I’ll buy everything and just hibernate in my bed with the huge pile of books… it’ll be such a beautiful month ^^

I approve of such plans! :D

I was discussing buying a 10-room house with my friend when we get rich and having 3 rooms just for books.

Ahhh! Your own personal library… do it do it! haha and put in a window seat (:
My bookshelf is depressingly small, I wish I lived right next door to a bookstore or something, I hate my school library :(

I have a pretty big bookshelf (bookshelves really)! I work at a bookstore so I get lots of books on discount. :D

I don’t like my school library either! Why dyou think they’re generally so pathetic, school libraries?

Aghh!! JEALOUS :frowning:
That’s my dream summer/local job: to work at a bookstore or at a library. Sadly, probably not going to happen anytime soon…

I love buying books, it makes me so happy… it’s like shopping therapy, but less lame? :D

School libraries just never have that nice, peaceful, dreamy library/bookstore atmosphere… you know what I mean? People are always rushing around, printing stuff, freaking out about last minute homework, being loud and annoying… just a pretty awful vibe… or I don’t know, maybe that’s just me (:

Aw, why can’t it happen? And I TOTALLY know what you mean, looking at those new books makes me feel all excited and endorphine-ified. LOL.

I remember reading in this book called Wild Swans about how the author had the perfect library at her school. It got destroyed in the Cultural Revolution though. :(

I just wish we had a good book store in our country. meh. :(

I love reading, too! I mean… I do have a personal library I’ve been building on since I was 7 or so and I still have all those kids’ picture books :stuck_out_tongue: but well… I don’t really find reading-for-entertainment helpful for this test… is it really normal?
