Just submitted my ED application

<p>I just submitted my ED application to Penn! It feels great to have that behind me....but the wait until 12/15/08 will be unbearable.</p>

<p>Now that my application has been submitted online (via Common App), is there a way to track the progress of your application? I seem to recall something about a student portal of some sort. Will I receive some sort of email from Penn when they receive all my materials? Are we given some sort of username and password so that we can check our status on 12/15?</p>

<p>November 1 Applications due for Early Decision applicants.
December 13 Notification of decisions mailed to Early Decision applicants.</p>

<p>which means we'll get it on the 15th?</p>

<p>I hope so! I hate how late they are... they are just late enough that I have to get started on other applications in case I'm not accepted.</p>

<p>I haven't. I am spending as much time on my essays as I can. I don't see the point of sending it in early... not as if they give priority. They don't have time nor the inclination to say "hey, this person isn't a last-minuter, let's let him in instead."</p>

<p>I just submitted my Wharton ED app last night.</p>

<p>Dec 15th is my 18th birthday.
So I hope we can see it online on Dec 13th.
