I'm 19 years old and I come from a low income family, I am also the first of my family to want to go to college but I need help going. I don't know where to start and I don't have the help from my family. All I want is to create a better future for my self please help.

What’s your high school GPA? Have you taken the ACT or the SAT? Where do you live?
Are you currently in community college or are you working?
If you’re low income and have high stats, your best bet is applying to 100% need schools. These schools are the most generous for low-income students (typically they end up being cheaper than in-state public universities) but they’re also very selective.

If your stats are average, you will need to look at your in-state public colleges, which is why it’s useful if you tell us what your state of residence is.

It’s a college search engine that’s very easy to use - and all colleges selected have decent graduation rates and net costs for low income families.
