Just Wondering: How Many AP Classes does your school offer?

Id say 7
But the school says 8:

USHist.
Calc. AB
English Lit&Comp
English
Spanish
Psyc.
Stat.
And if you own and manage your own Hedge Fund, you are allowed to take Macro and Micro Econ.

AP English Lang and Comp
AP English Lit
AP Calc AB & BC
AP Stats
AP French Lang (but not many take it)
AP French Lit (same)
AP Spanish Lang
AP Spanish Lit (same as french)
AP World History
AP US History
AP US Gov
AP Euro
AP Bio
AP Chem
AP Physics
AP Comp Sci A
AP Art History

14 AP classes...
Not bad for a school with a bad API score with mostly minorities and virtually no applicants to any ivies(UCB is the best catch for seniors).
-CC really shows you the chilling cold of the truth and how poor people have really an uncloseable gap between rich people... (32AP's? Geez...)

Oh yeah, they are scrapping Music Theory because there are only 6 people in the class.

The public schools in our state have VERY few APs & mostly opt to allow the most motivated & able to co-enroll in college/community college & HS. It's good & bad, socially & for other reasons.

It's great that your HS is able to offer so many APs & sends kids to UCB. That's a very good school that many folks would do just about anything to attend. The folks at CC are a very self-selected bunch & do NOT represent much of the "real world."

Oh, let me think.

None :| I think maybe only the big schools in North Dakota offer them. (ones in Bismarck, Grand Forks, Minot or Fargo)

I wore an NDSU shirt to school today :)

My school offers 10, but sometimes (like next year...) there won't be 10 because not enough kids signed up.

a whopping 8...

ap -
us history
biology
government
calculus
english literature
statistics
computer science
spanish/latin.

My school offers too many - seriously.
English Lit, English Comp, French Lit, French Lang, Span Lit, Span Lang, Italian, Macro, Micro, Gov, Euro, U.S, Calc AB, Calc BC, Physics B, Physics C, Bio, Chem, Psych, Stats, Art Studio, Art History, Environmental, Latin (2 different ones, I think?), World, Java

Next year, it's going to offer the new language ones, since we have like 9 languages.

Not quite sure how many, but a decent amount.

However, we're capped at taking 3 a year, and can only take them junior and senior years. It's really frustrating.

All except the AP Computer Sciences and the AP Latins.

wow....... its so interesting how all the schools vary

Four: English, Calculus, US History, and Biology.

With just over 100 girls in each class (senior, junior, etc.). I go to a pretty small private school, though we have I think 11 APs-

AP Spanish, French and Latin
AP Bio and Chem
AP English Lang and Lit
AP Euro, Gov't, and USH
AP Art History

those are good, core ones

Well you would think our school would have a ton with over 3000 kids enrolled, but we have less than ten:

Biology
World History
U.S. History
Government (1 class, two tests)
Economics (1 class, two tests)
Calculus
Language
Literature

We will have these added next year (that is if enough people sign up...):
Psychology
Chemistry
Physics

*nice

We offer:
English Composition and Literature
AB and BC Calculus, Statistics
Macro/Microeconomics, Psychology, Modern European History, US History, World History, American Government and Policies
Chemistry, Physics B and C E-M combined with Mechanics, Environmental Science
Spanish Language/Literature, Latin (both), German Language, French Language
Art Studio

thats like 25?

at my school
"554 students (including 30 sophomores) took 1,719 AP exams, with 96% earning scores of 3 or better; 48% achieved scores of 5"

I think that is amazing; but its crazy to be that AP-hyped

it really doesnt matter though cause u can just sign up and take any exam as long as u can learn the material, so for those who have zero, and you wanna take an exam just go for it
