@alexissss I listen to a little C.N. Blue, but I LOVE FT Island.

I’ve never listened to them, but I’ll give a try!

Their song ‘I wish,’ reminds me off Train’s ‘50 Ways to Say Goodbye’ lol

gaganum style :)

^ I really wish people would stop mentioning that song. It is all most people know about in America but it isn’t the only song in kpop, y’know.

I kind of don’t want kpop to move beyond Asia and into America. Pop culture in America is full of degenerates who mock other people to get famous. Can you imagine IU in America? How would the press handle her?

Also, most Americans wouldn’t understand or be able to accept kpop (cute girls and guys that might, to most people, look like girls). I think as far as Psy, he made a one hit wonder because the song was catchy and had a funny music video(and alot of my friends like it because of hyuna ).

^ I agree, but I really want to see how well 2NE1 will do in America though.

How cute is Sunny’s laugh at the end of All my love is for you?

Seeing as that killed the thread, what do you guys think of Seungri?

I think the whole scandal was blown out of proportion. What he did was done by males for many years.

YES, love kpop!
TOP from big bang <3

Mentions Seungri

Thread dissolves into fangurling. o.o facepalm*

I’ll join in

Oh yeah T.O.P so hawt but Taeyang’s abs, yummy. Or maybe I’ll get Seungri to treat me like a real woman? Who should I pick?.. Anywayz SuJu so qt, so talented. *faints

^ Actually, I think it would be a good move to bring kpop into America. I think Korean values and maybe Asian values would move into society instead of the other way around. IU probably won’t have to change.

That said, this is AWESOME! I didn’t know so many people were kpop fans in America. I’ve been kinda dissapointed with the songs that’ve come out this fall. Except for Gangnam Style, which is really fun and new.

Final point: Hyuna in Bubble Pop is uncomfortable. Rania in Dr. Feel Good is da bomb.

I’m not as into kpop as I use to be but I love all guy or all girl groups like 2ne1 f(x) and big bang…but the girls dressy really different from the koreans that go to my school. Some guys dye their hair but most girls don’t at my school.

Oh my god! My entire class today was talking about Gangnam Style because it played at the Braves game.

I’m beginning to hate that song. And it hasn’t really made more people like kpop.

Yeah, I really liked it at first, but now that sooooo many people know about it, I’ve just started to like it less and less. And like Muta said, it hasn’t made people like or appreciate what kpop has to offer. It’s just like any other American song, but in Korean.

However, Gangnam Style was played at our homecoming rally today, and it was pretty hilarious watching everyone dance to it :D

@liahfaile

Yeah, I like Rania’s Dr. Feel Good too.

Speaking of RaNia, I really like their new song, ‘STYLE’ it’s really catchy, and super addicting. I listen to everyday.

Like most people the only k pop song I know is gangham style

It’s funny because people think k-pop is a total joke now, I’ve been listening to PSY for 2 years now this is song to me is “just another song” Gangnam Style is a great song, but there are also other really good k-pop songs.
