KAIST VS Duke Kunshan

I am an African international student hoping to double major in math and computer science. I have got two admission offers from Duke kunshan(full tuition scholarship) and KAIST(full scholarship plus stipend).

But I need help to decide between the two. What I like about DKU is its global experience and the fact that it gives a Duke university degree which might help in getting into graduate school in US and work there. But the remaining cost after the full tuition scholarship is still somehow expensive. On the other hand, I don’t have to worry about cost at KAIST. But, I don’t know if I would get the same educational experience at KAIST.

Considering job recruitment and career outcome, which one should I choose? I hope to ultimately move into US by getting a job or getting into grad school (I couldn’t get an affordable offer from US colleges).

may i know ur stats? since i am planning to apply to kaist too, thanks!

Duke Kunshan, despite the Duke name behind it, is too new to judge. I would go with KAIST since it is one of the top 2 schools in South Korea, has a stellar reputation, and it’s math and computer science are rated in the top 100 in the world.

You can get into grad school in the US from KAIST if that ends up being your longer-range goal.
