go to mcgill university doing undergrad in economics and political economy.

want to go to either b-school or gov school but leaning to gov school since its easier to get into schools like Harvard and also work experience isnt as strongly encouraged

want to be a congressman some day but want to make loads of cash in consulting first.

any advice?

is MPP worth it or sohuld i man up, get 3 years work experience and then apply to b school or apply to b school straight outta college?

I think a public policy school such as Harvard really expects experience before enrolling.

If you want to make “loads of cash” quickly, don’t go for a public policy degree. The congressmen get rich AFTER they leave office.

idk i see on the website a lot of people go into consulting which i know makes lots of cash and is something i would be willing to do for a while

i also have interest in education administration like school superintendent for a large district, something along those lines. combigning business with public service.
