My DD won’t look until I make her some ‘consolation’ cookies —just in case. They are in the oven.
me too, yay!
It’s a no for my D which is ok. It would have been between Kenyon and OU Honors Tutorial College and she was really not sure how she would decide (we were planning to visit both if she was offered a spot at Kenyon) but she’s a HTC Bobcat! Congratulations to all who received good news!
Accepted with a $25k/yr scholarship!!! They wrote me a personalized acceptance letter as well mentioning my interviewer!
I was waitlisted:pleading_face:
I got in with 25k as well we are very excited. Congrats to everyone who got in and best of luck to those who didn’t!

Got in with the 30k a year merit scholarship lol! applied on a whim LOL!
Does anyone know if we can visit on campus this spring? Official tours or official events? Or even just walking around?
There’s a website for the admitted class of 2025 that goes into details about visits and such, so you can find the info there, but they are doing official tours, although of course outside and socially distanced.
If you join a Kenyon group after today, look up my daughter from Baltimore- you seem awesome
I got in! I can barely believe it I’m so excited
I mean, I demonstrated tons of interest, I attended all three learning at Kenyan sessions and interviewed
My (two) favorite thing(s) - I can’t name just one - about Kenyon are the people and the location, among others! First, the people here are so great. I have a really diverse set of friends from athletes to drama majors, sorority sisters to musicians. I love learning from and talking with all of them. I also really really appreciate the academics here. The professors are SO accommodating and knowledgable, and facilitate extremely engaging discussions and even just lectures. I am Pre-Med (so I take lots of STEM classes), but I am also a Spanish Major with concentration in Art History, so I take classes in almost every department on campus. The classes are so fascinating and push you to think in ways you never thought you would. I also love the location! Whether it is fall or spring here, the surroundings never get old. I take full advantage of the Gap Trail and love to ride my bike or run (and even get to stop and see cows!!). The BFEC is BEAUTIFUL and the sunsets are stunning. While it feels like it may be tiring living in corn fields, I am so grateful to get to spend 4 years of my life here. *Edit- I urge you all to seriously consider this school, Kenyon was NOT my first choice, and even the fall of my freshman year I kept questioning if I made the right choice, but I am SO glad I came here and I hope you all make it to campus! **2nd Edit - Also the new library will be completed for the fall and I am so excited!!
