Kenyon?

I know I am on the lower end of the spectrum for this but i have one of their top sports teams recruiting me as their top recruit. I have applied ed2 so my semester grades show on my application.

I had a 3.5 freshman and sophomore year and a 3.2 junior year. this semester i hold a 3.9.

all are unweighted and have taken 10 honors courses and 8 ap courses

I have an 1800 super score sat 620 math 610 reading 570 writing.

I have good extracurriculars with varsity and 1st team all district honors freshman and sophomore year. As well as honors in many age groups from sectional and national competitions.

I had a good interview which the interviewer had to end in order to make it to class.(1 hour and 15 minutes)

I have been very good about keeping in touch with my admissions counselor and coach.

Immigrant and single mother

Are you an underrepresented minority? First generation college student?

my father didnt go to college but my mom did

i am hispanic and spanish was my first language

If you weren’t being recruited, then I would say Kenyon would be a reach school for you. I think test scores slightly tarnish your overall application, but the fact you have taken a rigorous course load is impressive, even if your GPA is low. You have a great shot considering you are an athletic recruit, and the fact you are an immigrant. Good luck!

Thank you, I went ed2 and I hope I get in. I will post results.

I know it is a reach and that’s why I was banking on my sport and background to kind of help me out.
