Kicked out of NHS?

In our school, you have to do 100 hours of community service plus have a 3.5+ GPA to get into NHS.
So once you get into NHS, it doesn’t really matter if you keep it up…plus really NHS is just a cherry on top of actually having the GPA and community service hours.

I would just find some kind of community service/volunteering that you like, that fits into your schedule this summer and not worry about NHS. Also your parents got to see you inducted and that is cool.

Spend no more time worrying.

Many years ago, I was kicked out of NHS because I flunked typing. My sister was kicked out for poor penmanship. I have never mastered typing and she still has illegible writing. Yet we are both college graduates, went to school where we wanted, and are successful adults. Don’t now and never missed NHS, but sure wish I typed better than 20 wpm with multiple errors. Some people can read my sister’s writing. It all works out.
