Kids at my high school that rank higher than me cheat - is there anything I can do?

My cousin just got accepted by UW - Madison, and she’ll be attending there next year. In her essay she wrote about how everyone else in her calculus class had high grades, and she had one of the lowest. When she asked one of the other students to tell her how she was doing so well, she simply replied that her sister had the same teacher a few years ago, and she would look over the old tests before taking the new ones. It was the same for most of the class, and this infuriated my cousin, as she was upset at how unfair this was, but she wasn’t going to cheat. She confronted the teacher, and the teacher said that at that point it would be too difficult to change the tests, and that she would have to deal. Well UW - Madison loved it, and now she’ll be going there next year. You could try doing the same thing she did, see if it works. Good luck!

First of all, you’re ranked 7th, not 70th. Don’t overlook that.

Anyway, like other people said, don’t waste your time trying to pull those that don’t deserve their current positions down. Time and the way life works will take care of that. Focus on yourself and it will work out in the long run.
