Knowledge before learning in college

So my mom, suddenly out of nowhere, pressures me to read our family's health insurance and bank documents, and if i do not understand some of the phrases she gets enraged and tell me how i am #@$@ed for the undergrad business school i am about to be matriculated.

So am i really #$%#ed for not getting about 5% of the thick documents of whose financial jargons i have never heard? Isn't it still good to understand the 95% of the other part?

If you understand all 100%, I don't think business school will be all that useful anymore.

your in good shape, well ahead of the pack if you only don't understand 5% of the financial jargons.. your mom is just being a hard ass and wants you to be the cream of the crop.. I can't blame her, I would probably do the same if I had a kid.
