hey you should umm really definetly get some safteys up there..
And Why Did You Take Sat Korean
Why WHy WHY??!?! (unless you were born in america and have had no real korean verbal communication..)

Your hooks:
600 hrs community service
Library volunteering and hosptial volunteering
Leadership - probably one of the most important factors in admissions.. you dont have a laundry list of them but atleast you have some lol
Internship (not many people have that)
Weighed gpa

Your downside:
You don't seem to have much commitment. Welll, the founding of the Asian club is great (3 years) and your tennis of 4 years is great also.. But I don't think it's enough. Your other Ecs are only for 1 or 2 years which doesn't compare to Harvard and Stanfords applicants of being in 10 clubs for 4 years lol You played for JV basketball.. why arn't you playing varsity basketball?

You should take your SAT 1 again. I mean, top colleges don't really weigh much on sat scores but still.. it's in the 600 range.. and you will kinda stand out in Harvard where most people's scores will range in the 700s.

And remember UCs weigh SO MUCH on numbers. Everything to them is about numbers.. So unless you have anymore AP 3's hiding back, you are.. an ok applicant for the ucs except for berkely - if you are out of state. out of state residents, it's like 19-23% or something i think. oh wait you are an intel.. which makes it even more friggin harder for you.

I think you have even more of a disadvantage then us out of states intels because they know what kind of opportunities you are givin by living in the states and what you can achieve.. but for people living in Asia, they know it's really hard for them to do much ECs because of the hard acadamic pressure.. So they are lax on Asian intels (living in asia) whilst they might be a bit more harder than you.

I hope I didn't freak you out or anything but since you are living in america, whilst being an intel, is a big big big disadvatnage.. maybe even moreso than us.
All reaches for your list and a match for ucsd. And if you need fa, you might have troubles with stanford.. I dont even think UCs give money to intels.. no?
Good luck!

As a senior, I am taking:
Spanish 4
AP Stats
AP English
AP Spanish
H- Physiology Honrors
American Govt/Economics..

And I'm taking all the AP tests...is that what u mean by hiding?
(I've taken all the AP and HOnors classes possible in my school, except for AP French)

Because Korean is your native language, your two sat2s are IIC and Physics; and I heard that UCs make much of sat scores. so I give slight reach/match to your UCB chance.
BTW, do you applying for finaid?
if your answer is NO, then your chance is GREAT.
Good luck!

Because you don't apply for finaid, you will have a "hook".
Your new chance is as follows.
Princeton ED: reach (need-blind school)
Stanford: reach/slight reach
Harvard: reach (need-blind school)
Cornell: match
UC berkeley: match
UCLA: match
UCSD: safety match

cuz they are need blind and I want to take full advantage of that for those schools...(my parents are able to pay UCs with no prob and able to pay Stanford with a lil prob but not that much)

wait... Drab, r u a CAL student? then can u answer this question?:
I've lived in cali for the last 4 years and my parents have payed taxes for last 2 years. Unfortunately, I don't have a green card nor a citizenship (I live with a Long investment visa a.k.a E2), but applied for green card just a year ago and hope to get the green card by next year or the year after. Am I really gonna be treated as an International student? or would I have some sort of a leeway (not for money, but for admission purposes) because I intent to live in and currently have applied for Green card?

I'm not sure if this applies to all the schools but I heard that schools consider you as a green card holder if you are in the process of getting a green card.. (like, the greencardpeople are in the middle of process of getting you a green card)
So maybe you will be treated as a gc holder! :) lucky you!

yahoo! that's a great news for me!
Does that mean I can even apply to fed. grants with Permanent resident status? Where do I look up those informations? (I live in California and don't tell me "school websites" but please be specific for me...:) thanks to everyone!)
