L.A.Times Festival of Books at USC April 30-May 1

<p>The Festival of Books, sponsored by the L.A.Times will take place this year at USC. Over 100,000 visitors are expected to visit the campus during the festival. There will be 300 booths, entertainment, readings and book signings.</p>

<p>The festival will begin on April 30 at 9 a.m. It will be open from 9 to 6 both April 30th and May 1.</p>

<p>A shuttle will be running from Union Station to USC both days of the festival. </p>

<p>Target, together with USC, will be collecting new books for neighborhood children.</p>

<p>Great event. I think it’ll look great on USC’s campus, which is flatter and more compact than UCLA’s. Should make the event much easier to navigate.</p>

<p>And by next year, people will be able to take rail transit to USC.</p>
