<p>Do you know what happened to the Accepted Student Forum on the Lafayette website? It now has a login and when I registered, it said "only opened to moderators." Anyone else having the same problem?</p>
<p>The college experienced a power outage last Tuesday after a severe thunderstorm. It seems as if the server which held the message board information was damaged and the data was lost. Information Technology Services (ITS) does not seem to have any plans to repair the message board at this time.</p>

<p>I just wanted to make you aware of the fact that I am currently speaking with employees from ITS to rectify the problem with the Accepted Students Forum. I really feel that the Forum was a crucial means of communication between current and incoming students.</p>
<p>I'll keep you updated of the situation. Hopefully, we'll have the Forum back soon!</p>
