I'm wondering if anyone could give me some insight into the language requirement. The tour guide said 6 semesters of a language but you may place out of some with your language placement test that you take after orientation. I'm hoping to transfer in for my junior year (currently a sophomore). My language requirement is waived here for taking 4 years of a language in high school. (Make note though, on my degree works it says the language was waived because it's my "native language/culture" which it isnt. How would this affect me as I would only be going in for the last two years of my bachelors instead of as an incoming freshman.

Hmm, I’m not sure exactly how it works for transfers. Did you take the SAT Subject test in your language, or an AP exam? These can help you place out of a language requirement. If not, you can take a placement exam when you get to Tufts at orientation week. If you place out of the first 3 semesters of a language, you can go straight to culture classes (which are taught in English).
