Laptop delivery to campus?

So when my older brother went to University, he bought his laptop with a discount similar to those Columbia offers and he had the possibility to have it delivered to a building on-campus and to pick it up from there once he started his term. Is anything like that possible at Columbia too? Since I'm an international, it would be kind of inconvenient to have it delivered to my house and then having to take it with me once I go to NY.
Any help on this is appreciated

hmmmm i don’t really have any specific information… but the school can probably arrange something for sure

i don’t know. your best bet is just to call columbia and ask

You already got your mailbox number, right? Call mail services and ask if you can start receiving packages early. A package can be held for either 14 or 21 days. Don’t remember which.

Hey thanks for the answers but when exactly did we get our mailbox number? Did it come through a letter cause I usually get those pretty late.

I don’t really remember when I got mine, but I think it came in the same packet that included housing and stuff. If you’re not sure what your mailbox is, just look yourself up in the Columbia directory. Unless you’ve opted not to be listed, the directory should tell you your number.

ok thanks, I don’t think I’ve received that package yet, so far I’ve only received the first one after being admitted and the one about financial aid, but I guess I’ll just wait a few more days.
