Large Difference between these two grades ?

<p>Hey guys quick question,</p>

<p>How big of a difference is there between a flat A and an A- in terms of admissions?</p>

<p>If I had gotten only 1 A- my sophomore year but may get 2-3 A-'s my junior year, would this indicate a downward trend or simply reflect the rigor of my classes? I have much harder teachers this year, but still !</p>

<p>Don’t worry, an A to an A- won’t be considered a “downward trend,” especially if you’re taking more advanced classes. They’re both in the same (excellent) grade range.</p>
