Last minute senior year schedule HELP!?

I need to turn in my schedule forecast for next year tomorrow! My parents have only told me to take easy A classes. My counselor told me to take a fourth year of every core class, and not more than three APs (because I will travel for auditions at music schools). I have eight classes. I will certainly take

AP Psychology
AP Government
College English Composition (1 semester)
French
Physics
Choir

I am on the fence about:

AP Literature - I feel like I should take it, and English is my best academic subject, but I'm a stronger writer than I am reader.

and

Calculus (NOT AP - I don't want the stress, especially because I'm not going into a math related field)

The most academic schools I am applying for are Rice, Maryland, Michigan, and McGill. I want to have a "rigorous" course-load, and I'm not sure if dropping AP English or math senior year will reflect that. I need time to practice 2 hours a day and to sleep 7-8 hours. I am a relatively slow and easily distracted worker. With 2APs now, I currently have 2-6 hours of homework per night. I know it is ultimately my decision and knowing myself, but I just want someone to give me some insight as to what the best choice is.

I would take Calc. You’re taking college English Comp, which is probably similar to AP Lit.

Is it really last minute if your senior year doesn’t start for six months?
