I just sent in my ACT scores to Northwestern but ACT’s website says they won’t process score requests until January 3rd. How much does a late ACT score hinder my chances of being accepted?
Wondering the same thing. Just realized my daughter did this as well. Application in on time and realized Northwestern did not have ACT scores when checked her application status. Hopefully does not impact application process too much if ACT sends scores soon.

Put your application ID on your copy of the scores (your “unofficial scores”) with a cover letter and email and/or fax them to Northwestern Admissions. Call admissions to let them know you’ve sent unofficial scores and that official scores are on the way.
My daughter just sent hers in yesterday - this is what I received from NU after I emailed them telling them about an ordering snafu: “Thank you for contacting the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Absolutely, we accept application materials other than the application after the deadline. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.”
So I think you’re all good…
