Late Transcript to CUNY

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I sent out my application to CUNY back in October of 2012. I applied to three community colleges. Thinking my high school counselor already sent my transcript when I requested her to in November, I thought my whole application was complete; however, it is now past the February deadline and my application status still says that my transcript has not been received. On February 8th, I requested that my counselor send it again in which she said that it will be going out in the mail the day I asked her. I am aware that it will be considered late, but will I be denied because of this even if my application was sent in October, several months before the deadline?</p>

<p>I forgot to add that the CUNY colleges are back up school. I applied to FIT, but will not be notified until April. I am worried now because if I don’t get into FIT, and the CUNY schools I applied to because of this late transcript, I don’t have anywhere else to go. I refuse to stay in my hometown for another year…</p>
