In terms of their programs or the actual campus itself. Can anyone mention a few? (in regard to the engineering school as well as the whole school itself)

In terms of campus construction and improvements, it's all here:

Penn Connects : — Home

as far as engineering, skirkanich hall was just built and is quite nice. there's a new nanotech facility coming too...

Nanotechnology Center:

Since I got to Penn, the university has:

Built skirkanich hall
renovated Bennett hall
built the Hub apartments
Building the Radian apartments
built a new hillel
old hillel demolished, now a new annenberg building is going up in its place
Building center for advanced medicine phase I and II
Renovated all 3 high rises
"green" roof being attached to kings court English house
Number of starbucks on campus increased from 1 to 3 ;)
resurfaced a lot of blacktop footpaths into nicer stone walkways
built center for early American studies on hill field
Something in the law school got renovated
nursing building renovated
Williams hall was renovated

That is nothing I'm comparison to the prior decade which included such major projects as huntsman hall, the bookstore/inn at Penn, the entire Perelman quad, the fresh grocer, the movie theater/marathon grill, the vagelos building, the computer science building... And even that pales in comparison to the transformations to come with Penn Connects
