hi guys, just wondering for those who got into Launch X at Northwestern, did any of you also get a faulty link to join a Facebook Group from Laurie (a.k.a Launch X founder)? I’ve been trying every few days since the end of march… ( Could it be because my facebook account doesn’t share the same email address with my Launch account?)
Agree, @Arbaaz. I was also waitlisted, had tons of technical difficulty talking w/ Cindy (I was completely apologetic because I thought it was on my end, but now I know that wasn’t the case). I have another opportunity at Stanford, so I’m taking myself off the list and will maybe reapply in December. I could only do two of the dates, anyway.
Anyone know waitlist acceptance rate?
Ye me too
For the people who got waitlisted, did you guys get interviewed?
Yes @yootyoot
I had a great interview with Cindy and I got in. She wasn’t rude or inattentive.
I got rejected, I don’t have any reason for why did that happen!
What does it say on the rejection letter?
A long letter that starts with “With sincere regret, we’re sorry…”. I’d rate the letter a 5/10. It was flat out standard rejection letter. I’ve received a number of several other creative ones! Oxbridge rejection letter was much better!
@chetah the salt is strong with this one
@NV14Penn I too thought Cindy was a great interviewer.
@stanfordbound891 definitely people get in through waitlist and priority to the people who got an interview. However, most people who apply are definitively going so waitlist might not mean much…good luck tho
Any statistics on acceptance rate yet?
@NV14Penn, no, not rude or inattentive, I’m agreeing with the tech difficulties. Very hard to have a conversation when you can only hear every other word at most.
Has anyone still not received a decision?
@FLBeaches123 maybe I was lucky then. I didnt have tech issues with her either
I’m not going to overstep and generalize everyone’s experience with Cindy. What I can say is she did give me a heads up at the start that she would be looking through the materials she has on me and taking notes on my responses. Also, throughout the course of the interview, she followed up with questions relevant to my responses. I found her questions thought-provoking and insightful.
She had very good questions, I agree.
I had my interview 4/9 and I have yet to get any news on my admissions even after 4/15. What does this mean? Are they still sending out decisions even after 4/15?
