@BigBoi123456 I was deferred too, better than an out right rejection I guess. Fingers crossed we’ll get in regular decision .
Also is the Launchx website down for anybody else. I was able to access the application page but not the website

@bigboi123456 @tempest000 you guys should probably send loci’s (letter of continued interest). its what you do for real college if you get deferred. make sure to say like how you’re very interested and qualified for the program, but don’t beg as it makes you seem desperate. im sure theres a lot of better resources you could read on how to write a loci. best of luck
@notaloner thanks for the advice! They actually give us a deferred form to add any new updates and activities we’ve done leading up to decisions, of course I’m going to take full advantage of this and make sure my application is strong going into regular decision!
Tempest000, the website is down. The error indicates timeout. Will retry in a bit…
I mailed my check to the address they specified in the email, and just to make sure they got it I sent it through registered, but got a notification saying that no one was there to receive it and USPS will hold it until they know a date LaunchX can get it. Is there any other medium I can contact through them other than email or Instagram, preferably a phone number to reschedule this out or does anyone have the wire info for LaunchX?
Thanks for the tips, I’m debating whether I should email them and ask if I could get my decision sooner because my aunt’s wedding is right the time the program starts, and she needs to set final dates soon. However, I don’t want to sound impatient or needy. Also, I wanted to tell them that if I get in, even if the dates clas, I will be attending LaunchX, but I’m still hesitant on whether I want to submit or not. Any advice?
^ email, not submit. Also meant to say " … is during the same time the program starts, and she can only change the date up until the end of February." and meant to say clash not clas.
Is there anyone from regular decisions that has gotten interview yet? Also, can the accepted please post their stats!!
@at5678 stats don’t matter lol i got like a 3.5, but make sure you poured your heart into your app. my interview was really bad i felt like and my video was mediocre (i just took a video of myself in my room talking, really bad lighting etc). however i think i put 20+ hours into my app. literally every word was read at least five times in there.
@at5678 I have a 3.9 GPA, but just like @notaloner said, that really doesn’t matter. I think what matters is whether or not you show that you have an entrepreneurial mindset (this includes taking risks, stepping outside your comfort zone, being creative, taking criticism, teamwork, etc.)
By the way to those who were accepted, does LaunchX send a separate email that contains payment information? My acceptance letter says something about a SignRequest. Not sure if I missed anything…
Hmmm, idk I talked to one of last year’s graders and they said the video and activities were the most important part, but that could’ve changed. I thought my application was good, but I got deferred. He also said that being a team-player is critical like what @billywill18 said. But any advice on what to put on the sheet that says “any extra information you’d like us to know about yourself?”. I won the regional and state competition for TSA (Technology Student Association) and I’ve been interviewed recently by an infamous regional newspaper company for an article called “Rising Entrepreneurs in the Valley”. Do you think this will be enough to boost my application and get accepted after deferrals?
@BigBoi123456 definitely I think those are notable achievements!
Does anybody know how to make program fee payments by credit card to LaunchX?
@billywill18 I received an email w an invoice the day after I was accepted, and another email w a link to the SignRequest two days after. If you still haven’t received the emails, I would email them j to be safe
@qazlm1 just emailed them. Thx!
Woahhh… I just got a rejection letter even though they accepted me a few days ago. I just asked LaunchX about this. Has this happened to anybody else?
Did you get the rejection letter in an email or the application itself?
In the application itself. I went back and checked to see if there was something I missed since I didn’t get the SignRequest for a couple of days now. I got a decision letter under my “congratulations” letter that told me i was rejected.
That happened to me too, under my deferred letter was a rejection letter. I asked their support about this but no response yet, but now I’m assuming it’s probably happening to everybody.
For those of y’all who were accepted into Launch X last week or so, have you received your signrequest agreements to pay the fees? Also, @billywill18 I also was accepted and see a rejection and deferral letter when I scroll past the acceptance in the portal. Not sure if that means my original acceptance was a mistake…
