Law School Query

I'm a US/UK citizen currently enrolled in the United States with a 3.8 GPA double majoring in Philosophy and Russian Literature with minors in French, German, International Business, and Political Science. I want to go back to London and pursue my international human rights law specialisation. Is this worthwhile or should I attempt to attend a proper law school in the United States? I don't really have a strong desire to practise in the States, but would it be worth it to attend in the UK?

“I don’t really have a strong desire to practise in the States”

I do not know enough about UK law to answer what is better if you go there but based on your comment I would recommend against attending a US law school. Having a US law degree does not get you admitted as a lawyer in the UK and vice versa.

With a 3.8 GPA you could likely get offers from Oxford or Cambridge (you cannot apply to both), LSE and UCL.

It’s cheaper to attend law school in the UK than in the US, if that makes any difference.

You can attend a UK law school and become qualified in the US, specifically NY State and California.
